I have a riding mower and I know vibration has to do with it but am wondering more specifically why I can barely control my hands after mowing. Thanks!

The continuous vibration temporarily overloads some of the nerves in your hands and forearms and causes them to stop sending any signals until they have a chance to recover.
If this is something you do fairly often, you should really look into either wearing padded gloves or using a padded steering wheel cover to help dampen the vibrations, because repeated and/or prolonged exposure to this can cause actual nerve damage.
