Why are my muscles so much more pronounced immediately after taking a shower?

The title basically says it all. I’ve always wondered why I look noticeable more physically fit (both in terms of size and definition), shortly after bathing.

Do you take warm showers or cold showers? Cause someone down there explained a way for it to make sense if they are warm, but I think there’s a case for cold too

Your body is warm, it sweats and becomes dehydrated. Your body will then sweat. Your blood flow will increase because things in your body like blood vessels expand when you are warm. Because there is more blood delivery to your muscles, they swell

Water on your skin reflects some light back, and it looks like your muscles are more defined. That’s why bodybuilders use shiny bronze skin paint.
