Why are pimples concentrated on the face as opposed to being evenly distributed over the body?

As noted by other commenters, pimples _can_ be found anywhere. However, facial skin is oiler than other skin (for a discussion of why, see this discussion: https://www.reddit.com/r/askscience/comments/rsg96/why_is_face_skin_so_much_oilier_than_other_parts/) . Since excess oil & dirt is a major cause of pimples, it stands to reason that your face will be more prone to pimples than other locations.
