Hi 🙂 Different video compression codecs!

Youtube uses older codecs for lower resolution videos, to ensure downward compatibility (e.g. old smart TVs).

One reason is that even with software-updates of older devices, the processors might not be capable of decoding the newer (more “complicated”) video codecs.
