Why are we more sensitive to light and sound when we have a headache?

No one actually knows why but I think it is because of how your brain acts under the stress of, in this case pain.

It might even be because of a fight or flight response which should make you think faster.

For example, when in a fight, you are hyperaware of the opponents punches/kicks.
