What makes it so difficult to take in information from reading and listening at the same time, like listening to one subject but reading another and taking in information from both. Can we only process information from one source at a time?
Attention is a really interesting phenomenon. [This TedTalk by Apollo Robbins](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZGY0wPAnus) does a phenomenal job of explaining how our brains are only able to focus on a small amount of stimuli at a time.
