This is known as jamais vu. It is a psychological phenomenon…phenomenon…phenomenon, phe nom e non …that’s a funny word…anyway what was I saying? Oh yeah, it’s not fully understood, but one possibility is that your brain gets exhausted from trying to interpret the sounds over and over so you just start hearing it as a sound.
