– Why can’t you take all of the pills in an antibiotic prescription in one day, rather than 2 or 3 per day

I’m assuming it has to do with making sure you get any straggler bacteria, but wouldn’t taking all the pills at once shock and awe the little buggers and force them to surrender?

When you drink medicine or eat a tablet, the medicine goes to your stomach. After you digest it, it goes throughout your whole body. Some medicines get weaker a few hours after you take them so you need to take it again to keep the amount of medicine in your body high enough to stop the infection from growing. Other medicines stay in your body long enough that you only need to take one a day.
