– Why can’t you take all of the pills in an antibiotic prescription in one day, rather than 2 or 3 per day

I’m assuming it has to do with making sure you get any straggler bacteria, but wouldn’t taking all the pills at once shock and awe the little buggers and force them to surrender?

They do usually “shock” the little buggers by giving a double or triple dose for the first dose depending on the antibiotic. Your body can only digest and breakdown so much at a time so you risk hurting yourself, either kidneys or liver gets overwhelmed and you can die. Seriously we have a limit to how much we can take in at one time of everything, even water.
