Why can’t you take some supplements with Calcium, yet there are supplements like Calcium Zink Magnesium or something like that?

As the title says i can’t get my head around that, for example, you shouldn’t even take calcium while your on antibiotics, please do explain that as well

Some drugs- some, not all by any means- will chemically bind with some elements like Calcium (or Magnesium, or Zinc, for that matter) and either be inactivated or become unable to be absorbed.

Tetracycline and its closely-related antibiotics, for instance, really like to bind with iron, calcium, magnesium, and aluminum. Once they do, your body can’t absorb them.
