I don’t see this effect on my desktop monitor, but that is to be expected because it is an artifact of some AMOLED displays. The issue at hand is called “ghosting” and it is due to the blue elements of the display not instantly fading to black when a signal is cut to them.
There are some websites such as the [test ufo](https://www.testufo.com/ghosting) where monitors can be tested for ghosting where pixels don’t completely change color between refreshes of the display.
