Why do fans generate a lot of dust?

* The air has lots of dust in it already.
* The dust is too small to see most of the time.
* Fans don’t create dust, but because they draw lots of air towards themselves, they tend to collect dust.
* They collect enough dust that we can easily see it on the fan blades etc.

they do not make dust, they kick up the dust that is already in your room (or inside the fan if you did not use it for a while).
