Why do fish’s eyes not burn when in salt water

Human eyes need pretty tame water to be able to see underwater, how do fish and other animals who spend lots of time in salt/dirty water not go blind quickly due to damage?

Human eyes actually prefer saline water vs fresh sofar as comfort and lubrication, your tears salty like ocean. sea water contains myraid other chemicals and microorganisms and sand particles etc which most people find unpleasant yes https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seawater

Fish eyes differ from land animals and birds in many ways, rounder with wider view, corneas are thicker which protects against injury or parasites or contamination etc
