Why do movie cams (the ones recorded in theatres and put on torrent sites) seem like they’re always small and blurry low-quality video files, even though camcorders have improved massively in the last decade?

What the other people said…plus the fact that the video is likely compressed to save space. Turns out when you are giving away a product for free, you probably arent shelling out on hosting costs.
