Why do musquitos bite more than once, and why do they chill out near your ears in between?

They caan’t really see your blood vessles, but they can kind of tell where theu are using chemoreceptors (chemical sniffers basically). Sometimes they’re a little off so they may go for another jab, just like someone trying to draw your blood at the hospital. If you move or such it may also throw them off and they need another poke.
