Your nose isn’t a vital organ that needs a delicate balance of temperature to keep you alive, it’s just a tube that lets oxygen in. With that said it’s close to the brain which remains fairly warm but it protrudes out of your face and therefore it’s the first thing that obviously loses heat to the environment. If the nose was an important organ like the penis/balls it would have had some sort of protective mechanism for thermoregulation.
