When driving through different elevations with someone their ears popped and then mine did about a minute after. Why would mine pop after? Is it the size difference? How much we swallowed? Are my ears stupid?

Our ear canals and head structure are not all identical over handle changes in pressure a little differently.
In the grand scheme of things; 45-60 seconds later is still “at the same time” but our sense of self importance makes us think that that is a loooong time
