In: Biology 1 Answer ActiveNewestOldest Anonymous Posted April 13, 2020 0 Comments At higher pressures more gas dissolves in the fluid in the joints, and when the pressure rapidly drops the gas comes out of solution rapidly forming bubbles that cause the pain.
