why do warts form black specks inside them?

Ive had a few warts for almost a year now and sometimes they are clear and just bumpy skin, when other times they have black specks in them and im very curious as to how or why.

As warts age, they develop tiny but dysfunctional blood vessels. That’s why some can bleed if you pick at them. The black dots are tiny blot clots that formed in the tortuous blood vessels.
