Imagine your body is a superhero. When you feel worried or scared, your superhero body thinks it needs extra power to fight or run fast. Sugar is like a quick power-up for your superhero body. So, when you’re stressed, your body says, “I need a power-up! Let’s have some sugar!”
A more serious answer:
Long tests or extraneous mental activities just suck. You use sugar. I use nicotine. At the end of the day we ingest a chemical to make the shitty task slightly less shitty.
