There’s a video I’ve seen on YouTube on a few occasions where a guy is holding a fish in one hand and his phone in the other taking photos of himself with the fish; he then goes to throw the fish back in the water but ends up throwing his phone. I’ve found myself getting confused in this same way where I’ve almost thrown away an object in the opposite hand. What causes us to do this?
I’ve tried looking it up but didn’t get the results I’m looking for as I don’t know the best way to word it.
