– Why do we go bald on our heads but nowhere else?

Just the title. Why do, usually, men go bald on their heads but nowhere else? So many bald ppl with massive beards.

I am bald in 2 other places: my ankles, and a patch on my left thigh. I carry my cell phone in my left front pocket. It has made me bald there. Ankles are presumably from socks.
