Why do you feel like you move faster while you’re drunk?

I got drunk for the first time and noticed I feel like I’m moving so fast. I even fell down and hurt myself because of it. Why does alcohol make you feel like you’re moving faster, even when you’re not?

Because your reaction time is slowed.

If you were to watch a video where every other frame was deleted, it would seem to play twice as fast. That’s basically the equivalent.
