Why do your arms heat up really quickly after using a power tool?

I was using a drill with a bit a foot long and afterwards my arms itched and felt hot from the shaking, but why?

I’m pretty sure because the vibration stimulates your nerves. And probably leads to more blood flow at the skin. Same thing goes for a vibrating massage chair etc.

Heat is essentially just molecular vibration.

The vibrations transferred from the drill alone will cause heat accumulation, but exerting muscular energy to stabilize it also increases the circulation to those tissues and contributes to increasing temp as well.
