In: Biology 4 Answers ActiveNewestOldest Anonymous Posted March 29, 2020 0 Comments Not a scientist but assume because excess light can damage your eyes so it’s in your eye’s best interest to react quickly to that whereas darkness takes a minute to get used to, but isn’t going to harm your eye.
