Why does alcohol make you piss so much/ so fast after drinking it?

It’s to do with a hormone called the anti diuretic hormone (ADH). ADH gets released and tells your kidneys to reabsorb water. Alcohol suppresses ADH causing your kidney to retain more water, thus making you pee more.
