Whenever I leave home it feels like time is normal but coming back (drive, plane, bike anything) my concept of time feels a lot shorter.
Why is this?

Going somewhere, I’m always alert, looking for things like turnings. Also trying not to overshoot a landmark or turning.
Going home, I’m relaxed.
