Whenever I leave home it feels like time is normal but coming back (drive, plane, bike anything) my concept of time feels a lot shorter.
Why is this?

Anticipation.
You’re excited for what’s ahead when you’re going somewhere and the anticipation makes it feel like it takes longer to get there.
Going home is just going home.
