Why does it seems like time goes by faster if you’re getting older?

Adding on to what people already said regarding percentages of your lifetime.
Have you ever taken a new path with your car and then, the more often you drive there, the shorter it seems to take?
This is for the very same reason. When things are new to our brain, it’s busy processing all those new informations. This makes it feel like time is passing by slower.
