why does it take hours to develop hunger but only minutes to satisfy said hunger?

Isn’t the act of feeling hungry your stomach chruning on itself because its not digesting anything? (Can’t be fucked to look it up), but that’s why it makes all those funny noises when you’re hungry.
So as soon as their is food in there it has something to digest and expand it so you no longer feel uncomfortable.
