why does medicine have side effects

Why aren’t here any drugs that fix the targeted issue but have no risk of creating new issues elsewhere?

Your body reuses the same mechanisms in multiple places to do multiple different things. Its part of how evolution works. As a result, there is no medicine that is strong enough to help you that is also not strong enough to hurt you. The goal is to take the right amount to get the most help with the least harm.

The other good news is it helps protect you from scams like supplements, complementary and alternative medicines. If someone is telling you they can help with no side effects they are lying.
