Why does most of the eye drops says “Use the solution within one month of opening” even when its expiry is after 2-3 years.

Much like food products once something is opened and the sealed container is exposed to bacteria it can grow in the container/in the solution.
Try to keep it as clean as possible. This is the reason you want to wash your hand before using the eye drops and don’t touch the container to your eye. Anything that can be done to reduce the risk of infection.
