Why does the bladder have a memory?

When I get in the shower, my body suddenly wants to piss. Why does it remember that we often piss there? What’s the point?

That’s not the bladder, but your brain. The most likely cause, given the lack of details in your post, is old fashioned conditioning: do a pleasant thing consistently in the same environment, and your brain will associate that environment with pleasantness and do what it thinks will get it that pleasantness.

In short: you like doing it and are used to doing it in the shower, so now being in the shower gets your body ready for the pleasant habit you’ve built.
