why does withdrawal cause the symptoms it does (nausea, sweats, shaking, disorientation, etc)?

I guess because your brain chemistry is so used to the drugs/alcohol in your system that when you discontinue, your neurosteroids/hormones go crazy resulting in the symtons since your brain is going like “where’s the drugs i need them!!!”
