Having a physical way to sort out your complicated emotions can be relieving. Also, it always feels better to “release” negative thoughts into the world instead of keeping them bottled up, much like talking to a therapist. When I have negative thoughts, I feel them repeating, and when I write them down, I feel like I don’t have to “remember” the negatives as much because I can refer back to what I wrote later with a clearer mind instead of reverting back to a bad mindset.

Thinking about and facing issues you feel every day can make them less strong. Breaking “big” issues down can make daily chores seem easier to complete.

The same reason paying $$$$ for a therapist works. Talking or expressing payout deepest thoughts lightens the burden and helps you feel better
