It makes sense to me why it shouldn’t clot but I don’t really get why it doesn’t while the rest of the body’s blood clots upon exiting

It mostly doesn’t, for the reasons the other person said, however, human bodies rarely function perfectly and I suggest you don’t google “menstrual blood clot” while eating.
