I’m looking at my German shepherd right now, going totally nuts on this massive branch, it’s too larger for her to carry around but she chews on it like her life depends on it. why?

For what it’s worth I have had 3 German Shepherds and none of them have been particularly fond of sticks. They will ALWAYS try to get the stick if I have the stick (like cleaning up the yard after a storm). Otherwise they wouldn’t bother.
