Why don’t doctors prescribe obese patients steroids?

Steroids are really good at burning fat especially clenbuterol. My question is why won’t doctors prescribe it to overly weight people?

Most steroids cause people to gain weight. Plus all the other side effects, high blood pressure, cataracts or glaucoma, hair loss, liver damage, kidney damage, heart problems, stroke, plus depression or suicidal tendencies.

Anabolic steroids are actually derived from testosterone and promote muscle growth.

Medically used steroids are called corticosteroids, and reduce inflammation and suppress the immune system, lessening symptoms of some diseases like asthma and arthritis.

Anabolic steroids increase muscle and male characteristics.

The two are very different.
