* Hot tubs hotter than what humans can (somewhat) safely handle (so generally >38°C) are uncomfortable, and you won’t sit in one for hours. Also, the water cools down over time. And third, it’s really not something you should do because it is very straining, like a fever.
* Saunas are hot air instead of hot water, which is less dense (less stuff to be hot) and a worse heat conductor than water. You’re generally not in one long enough to heat up that much. Also, sweating works well because the air is extremely dry.
