Why don’t you get immune to mosquito bites like beekeepers to bee stings?

Beekeepers don’t feel when they get stung after a while and also don’t get any itching. Why does this not happen with mosquitos? They still itch after being stung so many times over the years.

Generally speaking, you actually do gain a degree of immunity. You personally are probably not being bitten enough to develop it per year, which would likely be a lot.

I definitely notice a difference, different countries with different mosquitoes hit way harder.
