Why/How does a new car have that fresh/new car scent during the first few uses? Why cant any form of cleaning/detailing (whether from the best car wash/detailer there is or the in-house wash/detailing of the manufacturer/dealer) replicate or restore it?

First and foremost, although we all find the aroma to be a pleasant one, it’s actually quite unhealthy and is the result of off-gassing plastics, leathers, and other materials; no one wants to bottle potential cancer.
