Basically the title. How come YT barely needs to buffer and has a more stable connection comoared to WiFi? Does it depend on the router as well?

Depends on the WiFi.
If you have good WiFi and a good router, your WiFi might be better.
Your 4G is just better than your WiFi probably because you don’t have a very good WiFi router.
Get an asus a1900.
