If you are referring to sleeping too much, you can wake from sleeping too long with a kind of “sleep hangover” (headache, lethargy, dehydration, hunger) but you can also wake not feeling well if you interrupt a sleep cycle (sleep less than an increment of about 1.5 hours) as your body is not ready to wake. Some points in a sleep cycle are like coming up for “air” while sleeping. You get closer to wakefulness and then sink away from it again.
