They would get kicked out from any FIFA related competition and their clubs wouldn’t have to follow FIFA rules including contracts. Something similar happen in the 50s when Colombia was banned by FIFA and their clubs figure out they didn’t have to pay transfer fees to sign players from other leagues so teams started offering big contracts to players from around the world to come join the Colombia league. Most famously Alfredo Di Stefano joined. This is was cause his transfer controversy when Barcelona and Real Madrid were trying to sign him. Barcelona was negotiating with River Plate; the last FIFA affiliated member that Di Stefano had played with and Real Madrid was negotiating with Millonarios the Colombia team he was playing for at the time. FIFA considere the deal Real Madrid to be worthless because they weren’t affiliated with FIFA. But the Spanish FA wanted to come to a compromise that Barcelona ended up refusing and leaving Di Stefano to Madrid. So if a confederation or FA leaves FIFA it could ruin the Football transfer market but this was great for the Colombian league. They call it El Dorado it was the golden era of Colombian football
