Why is Greek yogurt more filling than “regular” yogurt?

Greek yoghurt is (typically) made by straining some of the excess whey out of yoghurt. That means it has proportionally more fat & protein and less sugar and water than regular yoghurt. Protein and fat tend to make you feel fuller for longer than carbohydrates like lactose, the sugar in yoghurt, and *much* longer than the water in the whey.

Because it has higher protein content and lower carbs. Regular yogurt has a lot of sugar. Protein fills you up more than carbs so you eat less which is also why diets like Keto work well because it’s low carb.

pretty sure it’s the protein content being higher, protein is more complex to digest than carbohydrates, sugar or fat. so makes you ‘fuller’

The other comments mentioned how Greek yogurt has more protein relative to normal yogurt. To add to that, dietary protein has been experimentally shown to induce a greater rise in satiety hormones like cholecystokinin (CCK), peptide YY (PYY) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) than carbohydrates and fats. These hormones, via different pathways, tell your brain that you’re full and suppresses your appetite (hence satiety signals).
