Chances are that the once a day feeding is the caloric equivalent of a full day plus in the wild. Also, it’s recommended for most animals that you still feed multiple times a day or leave food out throughout the day so the animal can eat when hungry.

As stated by previous replies, you can live perfectly while eating only once a day, but you need to take in enough calories, macronutrients and so on.

People seem to be forgetting we come from millions of years of evolution and are animals ourselves. Our ancestors, let’s take the hunter gatherers, did not have a refrigerator to store food.

We are spoiled with everything we can buy, we don’t need to go out and find some food, we just buy it. All other species need to hunt, and they eat when they’ve found food, just like we did so long ago.

Just because some “diet guru” said is unhealthy not to eat 3 or even 6 times a day, doesn’t make it right.

Cause they weight less and are much smaller in size. Humans can also eat once a day if done properly.

Humans can eat once a day without any problems, provided we are careful about what we eat. See intermittent fasting, specifically OMAD

Don’t forget the fact that animals are smaller and sleep for 3/4 of their day. Less caloric requirements.
