why is it so easy for our tounge to find something stuck in our teeth but not when we try to pick it out with our fingers?

a variety of reasons, biggest i can think of now are familiarity and size/malleability

tongue is almost always in the same place so it is easy to spot differences

fingers are hard to get deep in between teeth whereas the tongue can conform to the space like an octopus going thru a bottle opening
