Why is Pork/pigs regarded as a “dirty” source of meat?

Im aware that pigs/boars eat whatever, does this affect the meat we eat in any way?

1) Pork used to have parasites because of the way they used to raise the pigs, but now days it’s alot cleaner.

#2) the jews were forbidden to eat pork, probably because of the same reason, but I’m not 100% on that.

#3) pigs like mud and people simply associate that with being unclean.
