Why is the colour of our pee White to Yellow and not the colour of the drinks we digest for the day?

Your pee color totally can be altered by your intake.

But only specific substances make it through the liver and kidneys with metabolic side products that cause blue/green/red urine.
Some medications cause blue/green pee and red urine can be caused by some red food coloring ( don’t remember which one tho)
