Why is there an abundance of certain speech impediments only with few variations? Why isn’t there more for the different letters of the alphabet?

The most common ones I hear are R’s and stutters.
I was in speech therapy from ages 4-9 fixing my R’s and S’s and those are really the only letters I’ve heard of individuals having trouble pronouncing.

I don’t know why it’s mostly those letters but I I do know it happens to others as well. The letters in the German alphabet ä ü ö are very confusing for many people. Especially in languages where you don’t have similar sounding letters people tend to simply say a u or o. (listen to Google to hear what they sound like xD)
